Activity description
Enjoy a leisurely cruise from Bergen to the awe-inspiring Alversund Streams, and take in the varied and luscious landscapes of the Nodhordland region!
This 3.5-hour round-trip cruise departs from Børshopen in the city centre of Bergen. On its way out of the city, the boat will pass by some of Bergen's historical city centre, beginning the tour right away with some cultural landmarks. Take in the view of Bryggen Hanseatic wharf as you slowly leave the city in the direction of the wilder parts of the fjord. This picturesque waterfront earned itself the honour of being on the UNESCO World Heritage List, in part due to its historical monuments such as Saint Mary's Church and Bergenhus, which you will be able to see from the water.
The cruise ship will then leave the City Fjord and head into nature via the Salhus and Kverna Fjord, allowing you to witness the beautiful Western Norwegian scenery. Arriving at the Alversund Streams, you will navigate narrow passes between steep cliffs, waterfalls, and magical islets nestled in the wilderness.
Your boat is equipped with sun decks, indoor lounges, and kiosks where you can purchase refreshments and snacks. You will be entirely free to peruse the decks at your own leisure, and take in the sights from all angles. Welcome aboard and enjoy your scenic cruise to the Alversund Streams from Bergen's historical centre!
